Braden Lefevre // Canyon High School // Amarillo, Texas

Between family, music and volunteering, this Canyon Eagle is not only well rounded but the very definition of b u s y. But that's exactly how it should be when it comes to following your passions.
We learned very quickly that Braden was not like the rest of our seniors. Of course we love each and every one of future grads equally and differently, but this guy truly stands out in the best of ways. Like most already know, we have worked with the ADVO facility here in Amarillo for years. Well this senior and his mom have also dedicated their time to this deserving organization. - Go ahead say it, we're a perfect match with this family! His mother, Lee Ann, has cared for ADVO for many years, day in and day out and Braden has taught karate there as well. We find this kind of selflessness at such a young age is rare, yes, but really more refreshing than anything!
When Braden isn't volunteering or loving on his dog Rex however, he's making music. Specifically on saxophone. Being that his dad, Don, is a musical genius we were not surprised to see that the apple did not fall far from the tree when it came to talent. But we've also learned not to be shocked when it comes to everything Braden can do. A jack of all trades if you will!
West Texas A&M University will be home sweet home come fall semester. It may not be far from home, but regardless, it's the very beginning of the successful future Braden has ahead of him. Especially with the support system that has helped him get there in the first place. It was such a pleasure to meet each member of the Lefevre family, including Rex of course.
